Luxe Box – Spring Box Review

If you haven’t heard of Luxe Box before, it is a quarterly subscription box filled with all things beauty. You will see haircare, skincare and makeup items. Each box includes 7-8 items, which are a mixture of full sized products and deluxe samples. The brands that you will see in the box range from indie brands to brands you find in Sephora. The box retails for $26 CND and shipping is free. Personally I adore the subscription box because it comes every three months. This gives me time to actually use up the products from the pervious box before the next one comes. I feel like if I received a box that came every month I wouldn’t have a chance to properly use all of the products before another one came. This just feels a little less wasteful to me. Now lets get into what products I received in the spring box! If you see any products you would like to see a “First Impressions” post on let me know in the comments!

Stila – HUGE Extreme Lash Mascara (Full Size)

I was super excited to see a Stila mascara in the box! I have a slight obsession to mascara and I’ve never tried a mascara from this brand before (to be completely honest I hadn’t even heard of this mascara until I pulled it out of the box). I can’t wait to give it a try as I love volumizing mascaras.

Smashbox – Be Legendary Liquid Lipstick (Deluxe Sample)

It’s very hard to tell in the picture, but this is actually a metallic liquid lipstick. Personally I’m not a huge fan of liquid lipsticks (or metallic lipsticks). But, there is something about the colour of this lipstick that I adore! It is slightly metallic but it looks very subdued when swatched, so I may have to give it a try.

Laritzy Cosmetics – Eye Pencil (Full Size)

I really love the look of this eyeliner, it has a slight micro glitter to it that I think will look gorgeous in the waterline. I have a love/hate relationship with wooden eyeliners but this one looks to be very creamy and not stiff.

Voesh New York – Pedi in a Box (Full Size)

This is a three part at home pedicure. Each package comes with the right amount for a single use pedicure. Personally I never really get pedicures and I hardly even paint my toe nails. So I feel like this is a good place for someone like me to start. I can’t wait to try this out and see how it works!

Professional Sebastian – Shaper Plus Extra Hold Hairspray (Deluxe Sample)

This is the perfect sized hairspray to tuck into your purse for quick touch-ups on the go. According to the website it is supposed to hold your hair without being stiff or sticky. It also claims to stand up to high humidity climates.

NYX Cosmetics – Professional Makeup Sweet Cheeks Blush Palette (Full Size)

I was so excited to see this blush pallet in the box! I love NYX cosmetics and have actually looked at this lush pallet in Shoppers Drug Mart before. Sadly, mine came a little beat up and one of the blushes shattered in the corner (but it is salvageable so I’m content). This pallet contains 3 shimmer blushes and 5 matte ones. There are a couple shades in here that I will probably never use (or only use as eyeshadows), but I think this blush pallet will compliment any skin tone so it is a great addition to the box.

Delectable by Cake Beauty – Sweet Mint & Cream Ultra Nourishing Hand Cream (Full Size)

This smells so good! It almost reminds me of mint chocolate chip ice cream a bit. It is definitely nourishing and makes your hands feel super soft, but not greasy or oily like some other lotions. It already has a place in my handbag!

Manna Kadar Cosmetics – Lash Extending Primer

This primer claims to soften, lengthen and add bulk to your lashes. All of which sound awesome to me! I’ve never really been into lash primers, to be honest I’ve always thought they were a bit of a gimmick and just added an unnecessary step to your routine. However after reading the claims, I’m very curious to see how this works. Maybe I will be proven wrong!

That was everything I received in my Spring Luxe Box! I’m very happy with the variety and quality of products in the box. I can honestly say I’m excited to play with and test out all of the products. This is my first box from Luxe Box and I can honestly say I have yet to receive a product I haven’t loved.

What subscription boxes do you get? Have you tried any of these products before?
